The Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center is open from 8:00 to 12:00, Monday through Friday, November through April

January 9 – Annual All You Can Eat Crab feed. Put on by the Soroptimist International. Held at the Eagles Aerie #3443 from 4:00pm & 6:00pm seating’s. $20.00 per person (Children Under 12 - $6.00 at the door) Bring your own pliers. Tickets available at: Eagles & Owen’s Grocery.

 

 

January 16 – Blanchard Art Guild at the Blanchard Community Center.

Beginning acrylic painting with Chelsea Hodge, from 10:00 to 2:00, materials included.

 

 

January 23 – “Servicemen’s Canteen” – Pend Oreille Playhouse

7pm, styled after the 1940’s USO Radio Show.

 

 

 

January  29 and 30 – Jack and the Beanstalk, at the Cutter Theatre, starring local children from our community.  All seats are $5. Auditions will be held at the Cutter Theatre on January 25th, for more details you can call, 509-446-4108

February 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, & 28 – Howard’s Follies, “The Music Store” at the Playhouse. This local favorite opens Feb 13 and runs through Feb 28th. Tickets: $10 / Advance; $12 / at the door. You can get your tickets at the Playhouse, online, or at Seeber’s Drug Store in Newport.

 

March 5 - 6, 7:30 pm - “Dearly Departed” A deadly serious comedy

A comedy written by Larry Shue, directed by Millie Brumbaugh. The Nerd saves life in “Nam” but the two never met. 14 years later Rick the Nerd shows up to visit, wreaking hilarious havoc.

 

 

March 20 – Tundra Swan Day – Camas Wellness Center

Habitat Restoration, natural beauty. Join us for a day in the mountains with free skiing from 49° Ski Resort.

 

 

April 3 – Sweets and Drinks – Ranch Club, Priest River

This fun event is sponsored by the Newport / Priest River Rotary Club & Soroptimist. It’s a combination fashion show and chocolate desert contest. Some of the fashions are quite unique in style and models. Tickets cost $20 per person or $35 per couple. Tickets can be purchase at the Priest River Times, Concept Cable and Rotary members.

 

 

April 10 – Doll & Teddy Bear Tea
